This short 6' spinning rod was designed for fishing on a boat where a longer spinning rod is not needed and can get in the way. This light duty spinning rod is a great all purpose boat rod for 15-20# line. We like to put a Shimano 5000 reel on this rod with 15# line and target the Stripers and Fluke with it.
